We are a fast-growing business that is looking for an additional member to join our team in Aberdeen, Aberdeen City, United Kingdom
The Depot Assistant Role:
Duties as the Depot Assistant will include:
- Serving Customers at the Trade Counter
- Using Computer System to locate stock & process customer orders
- Pricing orders.
- Identifying & Selecting components from stock
- Manufacturing Hose Assemblies to customer specification
- Promoting additional products and services to customers.
- Allocating jobs to Service Engineers & providing progress reports to customers
- Control of associated paperwork
- General duties in the warehouse.
The successful Depot Assistant will need to follow written work instructions and communicate progress to management and customers.
Good communication skills are vital along with a confident friendly manner, as you will be meeting customers & suppliers on a daily basis.
Whilst not essential, previous knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic components will be a distinct advantage.
As our Depot Assistant you will have had previous experience in a similar role, perhaps in another industry.
