DEPARTMENT MANAGER (LEVEL 2) - Fixed Term Contract for 9 months
Part-Time - working Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Saturdays. Average 20 hours per week.
£18,875 (£37,750 Full Time Equivalent)

Primark Newtownards is recruiting for a Department Manager, on a part time basis, for a fixed term of 9 months.
As a Department Manager you will oversee the full day to day running of at least one department. You will have full commercial control of the department(s), including stock ordering and merchandising and, using available data provided to you, will lead a team to maximise sales and provide a superior level of customer service. You’ll also lead the store as needed, in the absence of senior leadership.
A retail fashion background is not essential for this role but having strong leadership and coaching skills, a commercial mind set and exposure to a fast paced environment is. Many Senior Department Managers join us from positions such as Sales, Floor or Department Manager of a similar size store or Assistant or Store Manager of a smaller size store to ours. The role will not be without challenge but you will have the freedom, the autonomy and the support to really make this role your own.
