Job description
Storm Search is conducting a direct hire search for an Engineering Department Manager in Mentor, OH.
- Salary range from $130,000 - $140,000 a year

Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and account for the selection and development of engineers ranging from entry level to experienced
- Manage the engineering team by mentoring, coaching and properly scheduling projects
- Solely accountable for teams’ performance, budget, schedule and quality of work
- Help to create and maintain department standards, practices, and procedures
- Constantly look for ways to set new standards and use new systems and technology to improve efficiency
- Accountable for management, coordination, and quality of outside drafting firms for overflow work and general drafting
- Work with executive management to help establish future vision for engineering, and for the company
- Manage team of leads, responsible for the delivery of high-quality fit for purpose engineering deliverables
Requirements:
- Experience in wood industry is preferred.
- Experienced with AutoCAD
- 10 years experience in Engineering Manager
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
