About the Role

  • You will support the Director and Deputy Principal in providing operational and strategic management of the vocational provision within FE Animal Management.
  • You will provide professional leadership to teaching and support staff within the department to ensure standards are met and exceeded with regards to best practice within the sector.
  • You will be responsible for staff within your department regarding HR practices, including recruitment and performance management, as well as monitoring student retention, attendance and achievement.

About You

  • You will have a degree in a relevant discipline and/or significant relevant industry experience.
  • You will hold a teaching qualification.
  • You will also be able to demonstrate department or course leadership experience within a college or school context.
  • You will have a commitment to high quality teaching, and a proven record of establishing and maintaining highly effective industry links.
