Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Dental Service, working as a Dental Receptionist.
Previous experience of working on a reception and/or as a first point of contact and operating a patient appointment system within a patient led service is essential. Ideally you will also possess a working knowledge of dental payment, administration and booking systems but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
As part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, a good working relationship with colleagues is essential to ensure the smooth running of the dental clinic. You will be comfortable working with a wide range of patients, colleagues and health professionals but also be able to work using your own initiative and be calm under pressure.
You must have a level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.
Applications on a secondment basis will be considered providing you have prior agreement from your current line manager.
Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours.
For informal enquiries please contact Ashley Rennie on 01592 226475 or email [email protected].
