The Position
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, proactive and driven individual to work as a Hygiene Manager. Based at our head office site in Ossett West Yorkshire and reporting into the Site Quality Manager you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of our Hygiene Management systems, ensuring food safety and compliance in accordance with legislation and customer requirements (including BRC and M&S Code of Practice) The Hygiene Manager position is a key role for the site and will promote and champion continuous improvement to maximise operational effectiveness and efficiencies through the development of people, processes and systems..

Key Responsibilities
· Managing the hygiene system, supporting with pest control and hygiene training
· Developing Cleaning Instruction Cards in line with best practice and customer requirements
· Ensuring all allergen validation, environmental swabbing and ATP is completed to schedule
· Completing all hygiene audits and identifying solutions and actions
· Ensuring all chemical titrations are completed.
· Managing hygiene training on site
· Managing hygiene and cleaning consumables required
P*erson Specification*
The role is ideally suited to a Hygiene Operator or Supervisor who is keen to progress their career. Ideally candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably within Food Sciences and will have previous experience of working within an FMCG or Processing environment. As well as being a creative thinker, individuals should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail as well as a comprehensive knowledge of IT packages. Candidates should hold a passion for delivering results, ability to adapt to business demands and be committed to business and personal development.

Salary: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
