Job description
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Dental Equipment Engineering Technician to provide a repair and maintenance service for dental and associated equipment at Leeds Dental Institute along with its outreach clinics.
Applicants must hold a recognised qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience in the repair and maintenance of ADEC, Planmeca, Kavo, Cattani, Durr and / or other major brands of dental equipment would be desirable.
You must be self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise a busy workload. You will need to be competent to work on medical equipment unsupervised and sensitive to working in a clinical environment. A sound knowledge of safe working practices is essential as is a commitment to providing a quality service, good communication skills and an enthusiasm for on-going personal and professional development.
