Job description
Dental Nursing responsibilities will include working in the surgery and setting it up ready for patients, assisting the dentist by preparing and mixing materials chair-side, decontamination of equipment and maintaining records of IPC measures and auditing of IPC procedures.
You will also assist at reception by making appointments, answering the telephone and taking payments from patients when necessary . Good communication skills and teamwork are vital to this role.
A minimum of one year dental experience is essential.
Qualified dental nurses must be registered with the GDC, you will also need to have up to date job references and GDC Standards/CPD records and Enhanced DBS clearance.
We are a friendly private practice based in Long Sutton, Spalding, Lincolnshire. The full time working hours are Mondays to Fridays 8:30am to 5:00pm. Part time hours considered. The part time candidate may be asked to work additional days to cover holidays and sickness. Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on-call duties is required.
