Job description
We are recruiting a qualified or trainee dental nurse who can work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday including some Saturdays on a permanent basis for a well-established Private Dental Practice in Broadstairs High Street.
Trainee dental nurses who are enrolled on an accredited dental nursing course may also be considered.
For the right candidate training may be provided.
Working hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 am - 5:15 pm
Wednesday 8:30 am - 6 pm
Saturdays 8:45am - 3pm
This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful dental team. We are looking for a qualified or newly qualified GDC registered dental nurse who has the motivation, excellent organisational skills, work well under pressure and has a passion for patient care. We offer a range of treatments including, Dental Implants, IV sedation, and Orthodontic treatments.
We are a fully private practice, using Exact patient management software and digital x-rays with an onsite CBCT/OPG.
The successful dental nurse will be joining a friendly and professional team that knows how to work together to make the Dental Practice a great environment to work in.
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and strict compliance & cross infection control regulations is essential. We offer the successful applicant a good remuneration package, pension contributions, and paid CPD.
Duties include:
- Assisting the Dentists, Hygienist's and Practice managers with all clinical aspects of the surgery, maintaining compliance standards throughout.
- Providing excellent patient care at every stage of their journey.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout.
- Performing all duties in line with the CQC and GDC standards.
- Some reception duties such as answering phones, responding to email enquiries, greeting patients.
- Very active participation in patient treatment co-ordinating.
- Very active participation in marketing and social media
Full time hours: 39.5 per week
