Position Summary:

South Cliff Dental Group is looking for a Dental Nurse to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The Dental Nurse will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, be willing to learn, and be able to work autonomously.

Essential Functions:

• Review and update patient records in the practice, including patient demographics, treatment progress, insurance status, etc.
• Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure chart reviews; ensure accurate documentation of all dental procedures performed by the dentist
• Ensure that all supplies necessary to perform dental procedures are available; make sure that all supplies are clean and properly stored
• Develop and maintain an effective patient chart to track patient charts
• Provide general patient care such as answering phones, making calls, etc.
• Develop and maintain an effective office management system; ensure that office supplies are properly stocked; ensure that office operations are running smoothly; ensure that patients are receiving the best care possible; ensure that patients are receiving the best customer service possible; ensure that patients are receiving the highest level of quality possible; ensure that patients are being given the best communication options possible; ensure that all staff members are being given clear communication options; ensure that all office equipment is being maintained; maintain a positive attitude in your day-to-day work environment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gosport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
• Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Valid GDC registration (preferred)
