An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for a Full time Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our private practice in Beaumont Street. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is a team player, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Role includes:
- Assisting dentists in carrying out dental procedures
- Caring and supporting patients in their needs
- Providing advice to patients, providing aftercare help, and aiding patients in regular dental services.
- Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments and clinical areas
- Maintaining logs
- Assisting in maintenance, auditing and compliance checks
- Learning and development portfolio and subject to regular appraisals
- Taking part in regular team meetings
- Maintaining premises, equipment and surfaces in a clean, safe hygienic environment
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Maintaining efficiencies within the practice
- Abiding by all legislations and practice policies
What skills do you need? Patient Centred care and empathy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with colleagues, clinical professionals, customers and management.
- Initiative to continually improve
- Good decontamination and cross-infection awareness.

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Valid GDC registration (preferred)
