Demeter House is going through some exciting changes and in order to increase our offer we are looking to recruit Tutors and qualified Teachers both full and part time across all our sites.
We are a family run school and we offer an individualised and nurturing environment for our students from 5-19, who all have EHCPs. These young people are often disengaged from education, having previously struggled in a mainstream setting or been out of school for some time. We require enthusiastic, passionate, energetic and creative people to build strong relationships and facilitate positive learning experiences in order to raise their self esteem.
You need to be a special person to take on this challenge as it isn’t for the faint hearted but if you are resilient, empathetic, thick-skinned, courageous and forgiving, with a good sense of humour and a desire to make a difference then we want to hear from you.
We have immediate vacancies for:
Design Technology Teacher/Instructor (Resistant Materials)
Art Teacher/Instructor
Humanities Teacher/Instructor
2 x Secondary Teachers/Instructors (please state specialism)
Primary Teacher
ICT Technician

We require a minimum qualification of level 2 Maths and English for TAs and QTS for teachers, including ECT’s, qualified in secondary or upper primary. We would also welcome applications from anyone with vocational qualifications or graduates.
