Class 2 & 7.5T Drivers required with customer service skills * Excellent working pattern (3 week rolling, including 5 days off together every three weeks and no Sunday working required)
- £41,808 per annum
- Any 4 days out of 6 - between Monday and Saturday (3 week rolling shift pattern)
- Start times between 04:00 - 06:00
Our continued success and business growth has opened up exciting opportunities for Class 2 and 7.5T Drivers to join our brand new site in Harlow. These roles will appeal to an individual who loves working with a team to deliver exceptional service.
About the role:
You will be delivering furniture for our Home Delivery partners as part of a two-person crew throughout your region (city and town driving is advantageous). Customer service is at the heart of what we do and we are looking for Drivers who enjoy working with others and like a varied role, as no two shifts are ever the same!
For most deliveries you will need to construct the delivered products within the customer’s home. You will be given extensive training in order to complete this to a high standard.
· Driving a Class 2/7.5 Tonne Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
· Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes
· Constructing items in line with contract guidelines including removal of waste packaging and returning it to the depot for appropriate disposal
· Collecting returns from customers’ properties
· Adhering to specified time restrictions under current legislation
· Complete internal stock transfers to maximise vehicle utilisation
· Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
· Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey, reporting all defects as per procedure
· Completing all documentation accurately and returning to the depot at the end of each shift
· Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured at all times
· Providing a first-class customer service experience at all times

This role is hands on, it involves heavy lifting/ handling and is full of variety. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant is capable to carry out this nature of work.
Please be aware that every employee must have a satisfactory criminal record check (DBS) every three years and that job offers are subject to a check which will be carried out by a third party.
Experience, skills, attributes, and the person:

· This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – essential that you are physically able to lift up items
· Valid LGV, HGV Class 2 License or 7.5 tonne grandfather rights license
· Valid Digital Tachograph card
· Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC)
· A general understanding of driver’s hours legislation and working time directive
· No more than 6 points on driving license
· Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
· Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
· Ability to multitask and problem solve
· DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
· Previous experience in assembly and fitting is desirable but not essential
