Wise are currently going through a rapid period of growth and restructuring our ‘ways of working’ in the business so we’re looking for an innovative Delivery Manager to help assist our Head of Delivery in the rollout of this and keep track of all resources within the company to help teams deliver our exciting roadmap.

They will be:

  • Responsible for keeping track and monitoring the workload of all resources in-house (front & back end development, UX, design, QA etc.) aligning with the company’s roadmap goals

  • Assisting the Head of Delivery in ensuring the Wise ‘way of working’ is being used consistently across teams.

  • Sits between the Development & Product team to aid delivery of work going through the business.

  • Ensure the correct processes are being followed throughout the lifecycle of a project

  • Assisting with JIRA management and ensuring proper use

  • Working closely with the QA team to ensure the quality of sprints.

  • Coordinating & facilitating internal communication and effective collaboration

  • Helping refine backlogs with POs and devs to ensure increments of work are planned correctly

  • Monitor increments of work and use JIRA to report on performance to feedback into teams where improvements can be made and lessons learned.

  • Resolve conflicts and issues that may occur in delivery

  • Work to get the most out of the various resource teams to increase productivity and maximise efficiency

  • Monitor velocity, burn down and other methods of reporting to ensure sprint efficiency.

  • Aid Product Owners in the requirements gathering process to ensure bodies of worked are spec’d out well.

We’re passionate about investing in people and below are some of the attributes you may already have:

  • Outstanding organisational skills

  • Experience managing the workload/capacity of internal teams and reporting this back in a top level view to the leadership team

  • Experience with both Agile & Waterfall methodologies

  • Experience working with JIRA and other management tools

  • Familiarity with software development

  • Knowledge of Scrum techniques and artefacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills


It would also be beneficial if you had any experience with:

  • Prior experience on a scrum team

  • Coordinating sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups

  • Good knowledge of other Agile and Lean frameworks

  • Experience creating and monitoring reports within JIRA for capacity management

  • Able to take a continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics and measurements, contingency planning and roadmapping


Salary & benefits.


  • Basic salary - £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

  • Company bonus (discretionary) - up to 10% of your annual salary

  • 5 weeks (25 days) annual leave + bank holidays

  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid work environment

  • Gym membership contribution up to £50
