The Role
The Head of Service Delivery is responsible for the operational delivery teams to ensure that skills and resource levels are maintained at the appropriate levels and for future provisions. Embedding improvement practices across the business to achieve improved customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for our offices in South Central England which include Banbury, Basingstoke, Brighton, Chichester, Guildford, High Wycombe, Oxford, Slough and Staines. Regular travel between these office is necessary and the salary is dependent on experience.
Delivery Programme
The Restart scheme gives individuals who have been out of work for at least 12 months enhanced support to find jobs in their local area. Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering excellence in areas of contract delivery, ensuring we meet contractual requirements and secure appropriate, long term, sustainable outcomes for as many participants as possible.
- To maintain and develop key stakeholder relationships across the geographical patch, to be the face of Fedcap Employment particularly with political stakeholders, managing our brand and reputation to ensure the company is well positioned for future growth and retention of business.
- Drive for excellence in results, delivering 100% compliance with mandatory / contractual processes through having the appropriate resources in place.
- Managing the profit and loss account to ensure contribution targets are met.
- Lead, motivate, develop and performance manage the team to increase their capability and ensure the business area delivers against its targets.
- Providing an appropriate level of coaching, challenge, and support to all front line managers so that our customer service standards are understood and observed in all delivery offices.
- Promote Fedcap Employment locally, developing additional business through securing local contracts (e.g. from local authorities) to maximise our local presence and enhance revenue streams.
- Ensure governance and compliance with our company policies (including Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Data Security) so all teams operate in a way that protects customers and our people at all times.
- Develop and maintain a robust framework of internal controls over risk in relation to all business activities. Assure the filing of all legal and regulatory documents, monitoring compliance with relevant legal and contractual jurisdictions
Person Specification
Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
- Senior manager with experience managing high-performing outcome-focused contracts.
- Experience of/ability to lead and influence senior management teams on a remote basis without direct line control.
- Experience of implementing new contracts, designing process and delivery models.
- Gravitas, with demonstrable reputation and contacts with relevant external stakeholder’s excellent business acumen and well developed strategic, analytical, and financial skills to grow a profitable business.
- Any other ad hoc duties in line with delivery program requirements.
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 7 in Management and Leadership or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of the employability sector and local labour market.
