Are you experienced in building, maintaining and motivating teams?
We're looking for a Digital Delivery Manager to support a newly-formed Web Platform team at British Red Cross. As an agile-focused delivery manager, you'll create a collaborative environment, remove obstacles, and turn the vision into reality. You'll enable continuous delivery while supporting, facilitating and motivating the team.
We're growing the Digital team at British Red Cross to support the development of our new Web Platform. You'll join an in-house, multifunctional team building a new, full-stack platform and architecture: our goal is to support other teams across the organisation to focus on content, audiences and purpose without worrying about building, maintaining and supporting websites.

A day in the life of a Digital Delivery Manager will involve:
- Delivering digital products and services by coaching teams on agile ways of working and showing the benefits of agile delivery.
- Facilitating team meetings like planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives for effective collaboration.
- Encouraging an innovative culture focused on adding value and challenging assumptions.
- Promoting openness and transparency, removing obstacles and ensuring smooth progress.
- Helping prioritize workloads and estimate resources and time for successful delivery.
- Providing teams with the right tools and resources to do their jobs effectively.
- Tracking progress and managing challenging situations with confidence and clarity.
- Solving procurement challenges, giving enthusiastic feedback, and maintaining positive morale and performance. Collaborating with others to support teams in delivering outcomes on time and within budget
To be a successful Digital Delivery Manager, you’ll need:
- Great organizational and communication skills.
- Strong ability to estimate and scope budgets effectively.
- Coaching skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities.
- Proficiency in managing risks and a focus on achieving results.
- Experience working closely with product development, digital, or innovation teams, including managing portfolios of products or services
