John Nicholls (Trading) Limited is a successful independent plumbing merchant business. We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and detail-oriented Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our team.
Job Purpose:
As a Driver /Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for the safe delivery of plumbing and heating goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and check orders are correct and load safely onto vehicle
- Deal with supplier deliveries and put away stock safely
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a safe and timely manner
- Deal with customer queries as appropriate
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and good repair
Who are we looking for?
You will take pride in delivering excellent customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations. You will have excellent communication skills and have experience of delivery driving. Knowledge of plumbing and heating would be an advantage.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-confident and self-motivated
- Full UK driving licence
- Delivery driving experience
- Warehouse experience
- Knowledge of plumbing and heating supplies would be beneficial

Working Hours: 7.30am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday, 08.00am to 12.00pm alternate Saturdays
