Job description
An opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Driver to work for us at our Derby branch.
This is a permanent opportunity. You will be part of a friendly, established and experienced team who work with a ‘whatever it takes’ mentality, which is at the heart of everything we do. The role is varied and involves the delivery of parts and then assisting in the warehouse as and when required.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 5.30pm, One in two Saturday’s 8:30am-12noon
You will join an established team at the depot where you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of customer orders.
Key Accountabilities
· Loading and unloading your vehicle at customer sites and the depot
· Driving a well-maintained van, ensuring material is always safe and secure
· Deliver an excellent customer service
· Carrying out daily/weekly vehicle inspections
· Daily warehouse duties
· Order checking
· Picking and packing
REQUIREMENTS
· Full UK driving licence
· Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
· Willingness to listen and learn, asking for help when required
· Safe and competent driver
· Great communication and customer service skills
