As a Pet Courier you will be responsible for containing, loading and transporting pets and supplies in accordance with procedures and best welfare, following routes and time schedules set out by the Offsite Visiting Co-ordinators.
This will involve driving a Woodgreen vehicle between pet owners, fosterers, veterinary practices and Woodgreen representing the Charity in a professional and caring manner.
You need to be confident working flexibly depending on visits, spending all day out on the road sometimes driving long journeys or in busy traffic safely.
To be considered as a Pet Courier, you will need:
- A driving licence
- Significant experience of driving in variable conditions and unfamiliar locations
- Significant experience of driving a range of vehicles
- Good customer care skills
- Understanding of UK road legislation and correct manual handling procedures
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week to include 1 in 2 weekends with a Rostered Day Off either side of any weekend working day. There may be early starts and later finishes on a flexi contract as required.
The salary for this position is £21,255 - £22,635 per annum depending on experience.
