Pharmacy Delivery Driver – Wrekenton
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join an established chain of chemists. Based in our Wrekenton branch, the successful candidate will work full-time, Mon to Fri, 9am-6pm - must use own vehicle with your own business insurance, however mileage will be reimbursed.
As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will deliver items to customers, whilst maintaining customer records and providing excellent customer service. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
· Collection of prescriptions from surgeries, delivering of medicines and goods to patient homes
· Delivering items by identifying destinations; establishing route; unloading items to deliver; maintaining schedule
· Developing good customer relations with customers and surgeries
· Maintaining safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards
· Updating your knowledge by participating in training opportunities as required by the company
To be considered for the Pharmacy Delivery Driver position you must have a strong customer focus and previous customer service experience. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and qualifications:
· Full UK drivers license
· Strong organisational skills
· Travel logistics experience/good area knowledge
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to work towards deadlines
· Good time-management skills
· Lifting
· Selling to customer needs
· Dependability
