Job Purpose
Working within a team to deliver excellent service and quality to customers, producers and other team members. Building and maintaining good relationships with all staff and customers for maximum productivity. You will need to be reliable, conscientious flexible and driven with a genuine interest in Food, Agriculture, Livestock and growing business in the Food Industry. The role requires the ability to think on your feet, be self-motivated and presents the opportunity to be a part of the continued growth and success of the company
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Delivering to restaurants/wholesalers/customers everyday – full UK driving license required.
· Working closely with all team members - commercial, production, operations.
· Managing delivery of restaurant order daily/weekly restaurant orders.
· Quality checking all the orders to make sure what’s been cut/packed is exactly what the customer wants for their delivery.
· Quality checking the delivery drivers, making sure that they are loading the correct order for the correct delivery run.
· Providing cover for other staff members in times of annual leave.
· Assisting with production and packing of products in busy periods if needed.
