The Delivery Drivers will be responsible for establishing and maintaining good relations with our customers, and suppliers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. The driver also supports overall store operations to meet excellent customer service and operational standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient movement of product
- Checking invoices to ensure that the parts ordered were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer
- Accounting for cash on COD (Collect on Delivery) orders, and maintaining an accurate, detailed delivery log
- Comply with customer service delivery strategies and delivery tracking procedures
- Ensure proper utilization of delivery management tools and systems
- Organize pick-up of customer returns and cores
- Checking in stock orders and stocking products on the shelves
- Cleaning and routine maintenance functions for the delivery vehicle and the store
- Adhering to all safety rules, including the handling of hazardous materials
Job Requirements:
- 1-year of driving experience with a valid “G” class or above Ontario Driver License
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be a permanent resident or have a work permit
- Heavy Duty/Automotive Parts supply experience is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Availability to work weekends
Education / Certification
Heavy Duty / Automotive Parts and industrial parts supply background and/or knowledge, 1-year delivery experience, high school diploma, valid driver’s license & clean driver abstract.
