City Carrier Assistant (CCA)
CCAs deliver and collect mail on foot or by vehicle under varying road and weather conditions in a prescribed area and maintain professional and effective public relations with customers and others, requiring a general familiarity with postal laws, regulations, products, and procedures commonly used, and geography of the area.

•Part–time, non-career position, which may lead to a full-time career position; however, there is no guarantee.
- Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger. The driving must have taken place in the U.S. or its possessions or territories or in U.S. military installations worldwide.
- Hours will vary and will include holidays and weekends; there is no guarantee of hours. Example: You may work 20 hours one week and 60 hours the following week.
- You will perform work indoors and outdoors in all weather: rain, sleet, ice, snow, cold, and heat, and you may encounter animals and insects too.
- Your duties will be physically demanding requiring moderate to heavy lifting, carrying, prolonged standing, reaching, and walking.
- You may be required to learn and become proficient in delivery of mail on other routes.
- You will provide mail security at all times.
- You must follow established safe work methods and procedures.
