Job Title: Delivery Driver
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes or businesses
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicle
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain signatures from recipients
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries
- Good communication skills to interact with customers professionally
- Physical stamina to handle packages of various sizes and weights
- Familiarity with GPS devices or navigation apps for efficient route planning
Note: Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
