Job description
TMT dispatch is looking to hire Owner operators to deliver parcels for our E-commerce services.
As an owner operator you will be required to use your own vehicle. Warehouse location is in Richmond and deliveries will be made in the lower mainland, driver will need to be comfortable driving in different cities. Candidates experienced in delivering in Vancouver will be prioritize.
Owner operators will be responsible for vehicle and expenses related to work.
Responsibilities
- Load and deliver the assigned shipment effectively and efficiently
- Use applications on phone to communicate and receive orders from dispatch
- Verify locations for pick ups and deliveries
- Drive in a safe and professional manner. Be aware on road while delivering by following all the rules and regulations
- Average of 70-90 deliveries E-COMMERCE. Which will consist of 40-60 ecommerce and 25-30 medicine deliveries .
About You and our Team
- A positive attitude, hard working, willingness to learn and able to deliver outstanding customer service;
- Able to speak, read and write in English;
- Able to work independently, follow direction as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and well organized;
- Previous delivery experience is a plus
Requirements
- clean criminal record
- Class 5 driver license;
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs;
- Smart phone with up to 3GB data
Please note that the relationship between Owner Operators and TMT dispatch is via sub-contracting agreement, not an employee-employer relationship

Salary: $4,000.00-$4,500.00 per month

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
