Job description
An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Collection & Delivery Driver in Sandown Van Centre. The main purpose of this position is to assist with the collection and delivery of service/repair vehicles as a flexible service driver.
Key Accountabilities:
- Main purpose is to work to collect/deliver customer vehicles
- Follow route and timed schedule deliveries
- Assist customers with unscheduled ‘lifts’ to fit in around planned collections/deliveries
- Follow Department of Transport regulations and safety standards
- Safety check the drivers vehicle with the aid of workshop control
- Assist with cleaning of workshop floor
- Cleaning of service vehicles
- Strict adherence to all company policy and procedural matters.
Skills Required:
· Experience in a customer facing role with strong customer focus
· Full Driving licence and confident driving a wide range of vehicles.
· Must be self-motivated
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Well Presented
· Flexible as we may require small amounts of overtime subject to requirements
Hours of work:
Weekdays – 8:00am – 18:00 with 1 hour unpaid break
Total 45 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
