West Country Tool Company Limited is a market leader in the supply of cutting Tools and Industrial Supplies.
We are seeking a conscientious and motivated individual to join our stores/logistics team. Experience in a stores / delivery background is required, familiarization with vending machines, computers and IT matters would be an advantage but not essential.
As part of our stores/logistics team you will be working independently reporting to the Stores/logistics Manager using your own initiative, attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
A clean driving license is required as you will be required to carry out deliveries to our customers using a small company van, this will involve stock replenishment at these customer premises into tooling vending machines.
The successful applicant will support the stores/logistics department to ensure the timely and accurate processing of goods inwards, delivery notes and goods out. The applicant will be responsible for checking off items received from our suppliers, picking orders to be dispatched to our customers and where appropriate loading them into vending machines at our customers.
Precision in numeracy and attention to detail is of the upmost importance for this role and candidates must also be able to demonstrate excellent computer / IT competence together with written and verbal communication skills. Math’s and English to GCSE level or equivalent is required.
This is a full-time competitive salary/package, free onsite parking, pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with potential for immediate start.
