Responsibilities
Handyman/Handywoman
- Observe and report on each site visit for impending repairs, recent breakdowns.
- In the event of a breakage that could cause serious injury to our employees or participants, contact his/her immediate supervisor and secure the site.
- Carry out minor repairs on all sites
Delivery / Storekeeper
- Transport food between the organization's locations each weekday at approximately 4:30 p.m.
- Deliver materials and items between the different sites of the organization. Please note that these sites are located within a radius of 2 km or less.
- Make all collections from various donors or suppliers who do not offer delivery.
- To make urgent commissions with the indication of a list of the items to be recovered. (Hardware, locksmith, groceries, etc.)
- Transporting material to the ecocenter, such as mattresses, electronic equipment, appliances, etc.
- Responsible for receiving weekly food orders.
- Receive, monitor and confirm all order deliveries.
- Responsible for managing our storage locations, ensuring cleanliness and compliance, as well as maintaining an accurate inventory of storage.
- Responsible for providing access to suppliers/contractors performing inspections or work, as per prearranged appointments.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to carry out minor repairs
Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible schedule
Salary: $22/hour + 2 weeks vacation, 10 paid sick days, group insurance after 3 months
