Delivery Driver
Delivery Assistant
This job involves -
- Delivering, setting up and packing away equipment.
- Maintaining and cleaning the hire items.
- Loading and unloading equipment.
- Keeping the company vehicles clean and organized.
- Interacting with customers at delivery and pickup.
- Occasional supervision of equipment use (full training will be given).
- Driving company vehicle and setting up independently (eventually)
Key day to day responsibilities -
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Accepting payments for delivered items.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Looking for ways to improve company operations and discussing with Operations Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be available to work weekends and willing to work weekdays as well.
- Must have a valid BC Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Must have ability to lift, carry and move heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Must have strong time management and customer service skills.
- Must have a cellphone and access to GPS or Google Maps.
- Must be willing to complete a criminal record check.

Our company's training process is rigorous and involves a one-month trial period where an employee will be tested on their abilities and commitment to the job.
During the trial period, employees will receive an hourly wage of $20-$22.50 and will be assisting in delivering and setting up equipment at 20-30 different Grad Events, School Events and Community events between June 1st and July 1st in Prince George and in other cities in the province.
Employees who successfully complete the trial period:
- will have the opportunity to receive a bonus of up to 5% commission on all June sales - guaranteed to be a minimum of $1000.
- will be offered long-term employment with an hourly wage of$22.50 - $25.00 plus a percentage of independent sales.

- You MUST be available for anytime in the month of June. This is our busiest month and we have lots of work for those who want work. Employees who are 100% dedicated and available in June receive a minimum $1000 bonus at the end of the month on July 2nd. Please clarify in detail what your availability is from June 1st to July 2nd.
