Job description
We are courier service that provide, pick-up and delivery service for airlines' Delayed Baggage to residential and commercial areas around Montreal and Surrounding Areas, Anytime of the day, any day of the week and are looking for full time Monday to Sunday, starting 10am and 2pm drivers to join our team
We are looking to hire class 5 drivers who will be using our cargo vans to deliver delayed languages to our customers from our warehouse located in Dorval, Quebec. We are looking to cover various shifts.
Job Duties:
-ability to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver any package
-have good sense of direction and knowledge of the city
-operate and drive automobiles to pick up and deliver bags and items., Load and unload goods
-Use maps and other trip planning aids, Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
-Communicates in a friendly professional manner with clients and co-workers
-Operates and maintains company vehicle safely and efficiently
-ensuring order accuracy when picking up/dropping off
-You must sort the packages we assign to you and organize your truck for efficient productivity
-provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route
-Maintain safe and clean work environment.
Job Requirements/Necessary Skills
-Must have Clean Driving Record, Free of Accident/Tickets
-Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route
-At least Class 5 Driver license
-Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
-You have experience monitoring vehicle performance, mechanical fitness and condition.
-Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions from customers and other team members
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
