Job description
Pilkington, part of the NSG Group, are now seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure all glass is delivered in a suitable condition to the intended destination. You’ll have a multi drop pattern of up to 10 drops per driving shift and when not making deliveries, you’ll be involved with picking and packing orders.
Candidates for this role must hold a full UK driving licence and have proven driving experience. You’ll have experience of driving a 3.5t vehicle such as a Mercedes Sprinter/Ford Transit and be happy to undergo a Driving Licence check with the DVLA.
We also ask that you have a good understanding of SOP’s to be followed and adhered to as well as a good geographical understanding of the customer area. A FLT Licence is desirable, but not essential.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary £23,919 per annum, rising to £24,529 after 3 months service, plus shift premium of £3,587 per annum.
- 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- 28 days holiday per annum inclusive of public holidays, plus one day for each full year of service (up to a maximum of 5 years).
