Couriers Drivers
Start date ASAP post vetting process
TLP are currently recruiting for van drivers who are seeking a great opportunity to work for the top-rated Courier company in the world. This position is based in Exeter, Devon. The opportunity is temp to perm for the right candidate, with one of the highest paid courier positions in the country. We are currently hiring multiple candidates for this role. A successful candidate would have previous commercial van driving experience and have an upto date basic DBS check.
Duties include: -
- Approx 50 drops a day
- Vehicle checks
- Completion of paperwork
- Delivery of parcels
- Customer facing
- Temp to perm position for the right candidate
What is on offer:
- Day shifts – 0900am - 17:30pm with a 30 min break
- Monday - Friday (optional overtime on Saturday)
- Ongoing support from a dedicated team of workers.
- £12.90ph PAYE & TIME AND A HALF after 45 hours
- Weekly pay
- Pension
- Multidrop parcel deliveries, ranges dependent on route of 40-60 parcels
- Some collections may be required
- Temp to Perm position
Requirements
- Start date immediate
- 5 years referenceable solid work history
- Basic DBS is a must
- Basic Physical Fitness
- Full UK drivers’ licence with no more than 6 points on your licence for minor offences such as speeding.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients as this is a customer facing role so good interpersonal skills a must!
- Must have own sat nav and safety boots
- Previous van driving experience
