Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis

This role is primarily a delivery driver, however you will be required to work in the Warehouse/Yard when not delivering. Because of the nature of our products, this position will involve regular manual handling and heavy lifting (weights of up to 25kg).
Please note that due to insurance purposes the successful candidate would need to be 21 or over with a Full Driving License and at least 2 years driving experience.
Duties:
Loading and unloading stock on to the van
Delivering stock and accurately checking it off
Ensure all deliveries of goods are checked in to the Warehouse/Yard detail against order and delivery notes before entering onto internal stock records
Stock rotation and taking responsibility for the movement of the stock from the store into the shop
Dealing with day-to-day customer queries
Loading goods into customer’s vehicles
Physically demanding role due to helping out in our Warehouse/Yard – requires regular lifting as part of the daily role following the required manual handling procedure
Previous Warehouse experience is beneficial, but a positive and pro-active attitude are key!
