POSITION TITLE: Delivery Driver - Full Time
Metzger Veterinary Services (MVS) is a veterinary practice that was established in 2002 by Dr. Ken Metzger, in Linwood, Ontario. We offer a full range of veterinary services including emergency and preventative health consultations. We serve a considerable portion of Ontario’s livestock industry. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver.
In this position, weekly hours range from 24-35 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Maintain care of your designated company vehicle – including daily inspections and regular cleaning
- Pack and load products in the Linwood warehouse in the morning before deliveries begin
- Deliver orders to customers on daily assigned routes
- Maintain communication as needed with warehouse management team and support staff
- Unload goods and make deliveries as per client requirements
- Recognize and practice biosecurity precautions while delivering
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
Requirements for Application:
- Ability to frequently lift products and packages that could typically weigh up to 50 lbs, and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
- A clean drivers abstract
- A valid G license
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- A collaborative attitude and a drive to do good work
- A positive and professional manner with clients and co-workers
