We want every McDonald's customer to have a brilliant experience, every time they visit. That means hot food in a clean and friendly restaurant. The role consists of accepting the delivery and then putting it away, ensuring all stock areas are kept neat and tidy and ensuring stock is rotated. Full Training will be provided. Honest hard working individual required to prepare for delivery, by having empty cages and trays ready for the delivery driver to take away. You will check condition and temperature of the goods delivered and check that all items on the delivery note have arrived. You will be required to put the products away in to the stock areas, including refrigeration and freezer units.
You will need to rotate the stock using FIFO (first in first out). You will also be responsible for the cleanliness and organisation of all delivery areas. Follow all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures. Treat all customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect working as a supportive team member.
Friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful behavior will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential.
