Job Description: Construction Material Delivery Driver

Location: Metro Detroit Area
Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Matrix Home Solutions, one of the country's premier remodeling companies, is urgently seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Material Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of construction materials to our job sites in the metro Detroit area.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport construction materials to various job sites.
Load and unload construction materials, utilizing appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines to prevent damage or injury.
Verify and inspect materials for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet the specified requirements.
Maintain delivery logs and documentation, accurately recording the details of each delivery, including time, location, and materials delivered.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure the accurate and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards, ensuring the safe operation of company vehicles at all times.
Perform physically demanding labor, including lifting heavy materials, bending, and carrying items as required.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of materials.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in driving and operating commercial vehicles, preferably in the construction or transportation industry.
Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying and inspecting materials.
Good communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
High level of responsibility and commitment to safety protocols.
Full time schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
