As a Linen Porter, you’ll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you’ll be doing to support the Head Housekeeper and keep things running like clockwork. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! You’ll be making sure that linen is fully stocked and distributed among the departments and working as part of a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations.

Here are some of the key responsibilities for a Linen Porter:

  • Assisting with guests’ requests: you’ll make every stay memorable by supporting with VIP rooms, baby cots, etc.
  • Communicating and collaborating with the Housekeeping Supervisors
  • Ensuring linen chutes and linen stores are tidy and fit for use

Abutting East Midlands Airport, this laid-back airport hotel in a low-rise redbrick building is 2 miles from Donington Grand Prix Collection car museum and 9 miles from Calke Abbey. The airy, unfussy rooms come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities. Room service is offered. A contemporary restaurant has a bar and a sunroom. Other amenities include a gym and an indoor pool. Parking is available for a fee.
