Multi Drop Delivery Driver Class 2
Jennor Timber are an independent family run timber merchant based in Enfield, North London and surrounding areas, with another branch in Ruislip, West London.* We have been serving our customers for over 40 years and have great pride in offering a service envied throughout the trade.*
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Class 2 lorry driver, who will be based at our Enfield depot.
Multi Drop Driver HGV Class 2
The Multi Drop driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers’ premises. The job involves both loading and unloading the vehicle and taking responsibility for the accuracy and quantity of materials on the vehicle at any time. CPC Training is essential and if you have worked within the builders/timber merchant business that is a distinct advantage.
Essential Criteria:
- Up to date CPC qualification.
- Must hold the relevant licence for the class of vehicle
- Good geographical knowledge
- Positive proactive attitude.
- Problem Solver – Working to resolve customer problems at the point of delivery
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Digital Tacho card and familiarity with driver’s hour’s regulations.
- Timber merchant experience preferred but not essential
- Ensure that any equipment on the vehicle is secured and protected where necessary
- Willingness to perform a wide range of duties
This role involves manual handling and as such requires a certain level of physical fitness.
