Job description
J. C. Lewis Hinesville is seeking a responsible and customer-oriented Pick Up and Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Pick Up and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering loaner vehicles to customers and bringing their vehicles back for service, while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest level of professionalism. Your role will also involve cleaning and inspecting loaner vehicles and ensuring they are up to date on service requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver loaner vehicles to customers and retrieve their vehicles for service appointments.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests professionally and promptly.
- Clean and inspect loaner vehicles before delivery and upon return to ensure their cleanliness, functionality, and overall condition.
- Record inspections and other relevant information using smart devices and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure loaner vehicles are up to date on service and schedule any necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during customer interactions and represent J. C. Lewis Hinesville in a positive manner.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure efficient and timely vehicle pick up and delivery.
- Self-manage and work independently without constant supervision, demonstrating a high level of responsibility and accountability.
- Exhibit strong time-management skills to ensure prompt and punctual pick-up and delivery of vehicles.
- Perform other duties as required to support the efficient operation of the dealership.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong cleaning and inspection skills.
- Familiarity with using smart devices for recording inspections and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Responsible, trustworthy, and reliable with a high level of accountability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service or delivery driver roles is preferred.
