DELIVERY DRIVER
This person has a clean driver’s abstract, is reliable, able to lift heavy weight, has a solid knowledge of the Greater Victoria area and is self-motivated. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential and a passion for craft beer helps in being an authentic Hoyne ambassador.
Driver’s Job Description:
Delivery of Hoyne products, bottled and draft, to stores, pubs and restaurants across the Greater Victoria area. Our driver must organize their route to allow enough time to fulfill the scheduled deliveries in a timely manner. It is imperative that our driver represent Hoyne Brewing Co. in a respectful, non-confrontational manner toward all our customers or business associates. Flexibility and a 'can do' attitude is essential!
Daily tasks:
- organize daily routes, with an ability to prioritize orders that may require immediate attention
- load delivery van with product needed for the day and track inventory
- make note of all product picked from warehouse for inventory purposes
- deliver product to respective accounts, make sure person receiving product verifies and signs off
-rotate stock in account cold rooms if necessary-our motto is ‘Leave the area cleaner than when you walked into it.’
- handle occasional cash/cheque payments received
- pick up and record all empty kegs, return all empty kegs to warehouse at the end of each day
-drop off copies of signed Doc 60’s, and any payments received, to the admin office at the end of each day
-regular communication with head office regarding any changes/updates/troubleshooting issues etc.
Communication:
-it is of utmost importance that all communication with co-workers, admin/orders desk, reps and customers be done in a professional manner. Any information regarding potential problematic situations, i.e. dirty line at account, is to be communicated to the appropriate sales rep.
Requirements:
Clean driver's abstract, fork lift experience and asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
