Ready to be part of the beating heart of our hospitals? Herefordshire & Worcestershire Integrated Care System (ICS) is on the lookout for energetic and compassionate individuals to join our Hospital Porter team.
As a Hospital Porter, you'll transport patients, vital medical equipment, and supplies safely across the hospital. Not just a cog in the wheel, you’ll be the friendly face that soothes worries and offers comfort to patients in their hospital stay.
Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before - we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the necessary skills, and there's always room for growth within our organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Safely chauffeuring patients around the hospital - to and from treatments, back to their beds, or out to their ride home
- Delivering crucial medical equipment and supplies to different departments
- Safeguarding the delicate medical equipment in your care
- Maintaining our high cleanliness and hygiene standards
Qualifications:
- Fabulous communication and people skills
- A nurturing and empathetic spirit
- Stamina to stay on the go (if you want to get your steps in, this is a great job for you)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
