Job description
Franchisee’s of Bimbo Canada (formerly Canada Bread), part of the world's largest baking company, Groupo Bimbo, is hiring a casual/on-call delivery driver and merchandiser for its Nanaimo depot.As a relief driver, you would be covering a route while the regular driver is on vacation. You would be responsible for delivering bakery goods (Brands = Dempster’s, Villaggio, Vachon, Takis, Hostess) to ushi grocery stores and restaurants located from Ladysmith to Tofino. This position requires an early start, working by yourself, and a fast-paced day. You would be trained for 3-4 weeks one-on-one with the regular drivers. Training wage starts at $20 per hour and will increase to $25 upon competition of training. Drivers can expect to work full-time hours throughout the summer, with lots of opportunity for overtime. Position requires a clean driver’s abstract.
