Reporting to: Branch Manager
Since the first branch of General Traffic opened in 1983, our family owned business has grown to become one of the largest stockists of automotive spares in the North West and the Midlands.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
- To transport and deliver goods to our other branches in our delivery vans
- To check the accuracy of all orders before delivery
- To obtain signatures for deliveries on the PDA systems
- To collect goods for return completing goods Return Notes clearly and accurately
- To promote our business at all times and advise customers of special offers and new products available when appropriate
- To represent our company professionally in every respect. Maintaining a smart appearance, keeping uniform and company vehicle presentable at all times.
- Other branch duties as required.
PROFILE
- Excellent driving skills.
- Good communication and inter-personnel skills as well as a strong appreciation of customer service values.
- Geographical familiarity with Keighley and surrounding areas.
Monday to Friday and Alternate Saturdays - 44.75 average hours per week
