Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver based at our Fourpure Brewery in Bermondsey, London. The candidate will demonstrate strong enthusiasm and can work with little supervision; they will also possess outstanding organisation and time-management skills. Flexibility is essential to fulfil a variety of duties across the logistics team, as is sometimes required. This is a multi-faceted role working with both the warehouse team and direct delivery team:
- Managing goods via our warehouse management system (WMS-training in-house)
- Building pallet orders securely in a timely manner, ready for distribution
- Checking-in goods, including brewery materials, packaging materials, keg returns, and stock
- Forklifting stock and materials across the site
- Manage stock and batch rotation (FIFO).
- Consolidate pallets and make improvements to warehouse utilisation to increase capacity
- Undertake weekly stocktakes and month end counts for all SKUs
- Adhere to and improve hygiene and safety standards
- Making deliveries to accounts in our brewery vans
- Working on a flexible basis between the warehouse team and delivery team
- Reporting near misses and engaging in the safety culture
Skills and experience:
- Self-motivated and can work autonomously
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management ability
- Previous warehouse experience and 3.5t van deliveries (London)
- Forklift counterbalance licence (in-house training provided for other equipment and refreshers)
- Computer literate with experience in a WMS/CMS including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
- Problem solving skills and Lean Manufacturing experience (5S, 5Whys) is an advantage
- Forklift license (essential)
- Forklift reach truck licence (desired)
- Full clean UK driving licence, 25+ years of age (essential)

- £25,000-£28,000pa depending on experience
- 40-hour working week (Monday to Friday, days)
