Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Based in Andover, Hampshire

Contract type: Permanent

Hours per week: Full-time

Salary: £28-30k

Reporting to: Transport Supervisor

Our Delivery Drivers play a crucial role in driving us forward in the UK and are vital to our

department’s mission to turn the planet orange! We are looking for customer-centric individuals

who understand the importance of outstanding after-sales service and can safely deliver our

products to their new users.


This role is Monday-Friday and scheduled for days only; however, there is a need to understand

and be flexible with start/finish times within reason depending on the delivery routes for the day.


Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out deliveries to customers, service partners and depots with care for goods,

ensuring items are delivered safely and without damage

  • Be friendly, professional and willing to offer the customer machine familiarisation making

sure they understand their product

  • Ensure safety and security of you, customers, vehicles and goods at all times adhering to

relevant guidelines as necessary

  • Have a good understanding of Drivers hours and relevant legislation, remaining compliant

with this legislation

  • Complete all compliance and delivery documentation thoroughly
  • Safely loading / unloading goods for delivery
  • Any other driver-related role as dictated by the Transport Office


Person specification:


You must have previous experience driving up to 7.5T lorries (and appropriate licences)

Experience delivering with a high level of customer service


Essential:
Have a full valid 7.5T (C1) licence, with additional E category, DQC (Driver Qualification Card) and CPC accreditation.

Attention to detail and appropriately reporting problems as required

Flexibility:

The post holder must be available to regularly attend the office in Andover to attend team

meetings.
