Job description
We are currently seeking to recruit the following:
- Van Driver - 3.5 ton
- HGV Driver C1 (7.5ton) / HGV Driver C (18ton)
Main Purpose of Job: Multi Drop Delivery Driver
Based: 21 Moyraverty West Road Craigavon BT65 5HU
Delivery Area: Mainly within Northern Ireland.
Essential Skills / Qualifications and experience:
· Valid UK Driving Licence at the relevant category
· Evidence of experience in delivering groupage consignments (Preferred but not essential)
· Valid Digital tachograph card.
· Drivers CPC training completed, possessing a DQC
· Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
· Good understanding of both written and spoken English.
· Must be able to provide one reference in relation your driving abilities (Preferred but not essential).
Desirable skills/ qualifications and experience:
· Proven experience of multi drop distribution, including use of tail lifts/pallet trucks etc.
· Evidence of manual handling training.
· Evidence of no serious/frequent accidents and or loss of freight.
· Working knowledge of driver’s hours and tachograph legislation.
Hours of Work: - Monday to Friday 7AM to 5PM (approx.)
Rate of Pay - £25,500 to £30,000 per annum
These hours will vary and you may be required to work additional hours determined by the needs of the business, 1 hour unpaid break per day.
