Job description
Europac is one of the country’s foremost food to go packaging specialists and has been established for over 20 years, we are currently looking to recruit a warehouse assistant/delivery driver, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
Job Purpose
Assist with the smooth running of the warehouse, by ensuring:
- all goods are received in a good condition and are put away correctly
- goods for delivery are accurately, picked and prepared ready for loading
- the warehouse is kept tidy, and equipment is kept in good condition and in a safe place
Feedback on stock levels and availability for picking, to include:
- timely notification of product deliveries
- identification of damaged or redundant products
Cover for the delivery driver, delivering customer orders and collecting from suppliers, this will be on an ad hoc basis when volumes dictate or to cover annual leave
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives with the following attributes:
- 1-year warehouse experience is preferred
- Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Full driving licence
- Must be a reliable individual.
- Must be hardworking.
- Must be physically fit and able to climb ladders
- An excellent team player
- Confident in working individually
- Flexibility in hours at certain times of the year
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.50-£13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
