Job description
Duralum, a leader in the patio covering manufacturing industry is seeking skilled employees for their Delivery Driver position. The position is full-time and offers competitive wages and benefit plans upon completion of the introductory period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Others could be added.
- Ensures customer orders are complete when audited against the Picking List. Pulls steel posts, inserts, lattice tubes and other parts as needed to complete the customer order.
- Loads customer Add-Ons as needed ensuring credit check, C.O.D., and additional customer charge policies are followed. Accuracy is key.
- Selects the appropriate truck for the size of the order. Loads trucks safely, balancing loads and securing them to prevent movement and damage during transport.
- Follows all company driving policies and applicable driving regulations.
- Maintains a high level of productivity by working in multiple areas of Duralum as a team contributor.
- Actively participates in safety training; makes safety a priority each day; takes a leadership role among your peers by drawing/pointing out any unsafe practices.
Qualifications:
- Recent driving experience and excellent work longevity are required.
- Must possess a valid Class C driver's license and submit a current Motor Vehicle Record.
- Successfully pass drug tests in compliance with Company Policy.
