Wage: $20.00/hour
Location: 1545 West 3rd Ave, Vancouver BC
Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for loading food, supplies, or other products (such as machines) and delivering them to various locations in an area.
As a Delivery Driver, you will:
- Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations
- Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required to properly service all scheduled deliveries
- Unload requested products at delivery site
- Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
- Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned
About you:
- A valid driver's license and good driving record is required
- Must possess a valid Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the province in which you are applying where required by law
- You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to carry out duties of the position
