WHERE DOES THIS ROLE FIT WITHIN TED'S TEAM?
The role of Ted’s Social Media & Community Executive is to help manage the day to day running of all the social channels, ensuring Ted’s brand vision and tone of voice is consistent across all channels. Responsible for ensuring creativity across all social content to ensure it is engaging for our audience. Ted’s Social Media & Community Executive will help to increase the brands presence and enhance sales by assisting the implementation of forward thinking social strategy in line with the brand’s marketing calendar.
Reporting to: Social Media & Community Manager
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the day to day management of our social media platforms. Execute content across all channels using various social media scheduling tools, including some paid support.
o Concept and design concepts for posts across all channels (Instagram - Grid, Posts, Stories, Reels, IGTV, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & TikTok)
o Generate lists of content creators we can collaborate with across IG Lives, IGTV, Reels and TikTok.
o Support in the planning of expanding our channels and driving channel innovation through our community.
  • Support in the planning and execution of campaign and product launches in a social first manner
  • Report on success of campaigns and content, suggest recommendations for improvement
  • Supporting weekly social media planning across UK and EU channels
  • Liaise with the creative team to ensure specific content is created for all social channels
  • Build great relationships across the business including buying, merchandising, digital, and marketing to ensure all product, trade and design messages are relevant and timely to support the whole community strategy
  • Support internal & external advocacy program at Ted Baker with a social media approach
  • Work closely with the PR, Influencer & Community team to align all on UGC content to support seasonal campaigns and amplify the Ted Baker community
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
  • Previous experience managing social media channels, preferably within a fashion brand
  • A professional qualification i.e. degree, national diploma or HND
  • Creativity and ability to write copy
  • Experience with Canva, Miro or the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working with a social media tool, such as Sprinklr and Sprout
  • A natural curiosity and love for the fashion industry, keeping up to date with the latest social trends and opportunities
  • Ability to capture video and still content on the go, for channels such as Instagram Stories. Use of a DSLR is recommended but not essential
  • Experience using Facebook Ads or Business Manager is a plus but not essential
